Soon to be adapted for ITV with Martin Clunes as Doyle.

Yeah, knowing Stephen's overall tendency towards self-flagellation, I sort of expect it. But hopefully there are some nice stories about Hugh Laurie to balance it out.

NOS4A2 is by far the most Stephen King-esque of Joe Hill's work but consciously so if I remember right. And, in return, it gets a quick reference in King's Doctor Sleep.

Normally, I do too. Like I said, weird headspace. I've also gotten a lot of enjoyable conversational mileage out of the "500 Miles" bit of trivia.

I had heard a lot of people disappointed with Fry's latest. It's a bit disheartening since it covers the era when he's doing Blackadder, A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster. I'll still read it eventually, though.

I enjoyed What If, although I read it while I feeling generally depressed about life and reading about the many ways humankind can and will be doomed put me in a weird headspace for a while.

That's a pleasant surprise. Fingers crossed this is leading up to a new Halloween cartoon.

This could be interesting. But please, could Mr. Laurie do some comedy sometime soon? During their reunion show, he and Stephen Fry pointed out that A Bit of Fry and Laurie was never technically cancelled.

Really looking forward to this. They're cutting Henry VI down to two parts so maybe the heavy editing will help. Don't forget Judi Dench!

It might show up on Hulu. They seem to be getting the new seasons at least. What a wonderful time to be alive - new episodes of Would I Lie to You? and QI on the same night.

Does shouting out the combinations for various Mortal Kombat moves count as multi-player? When I growing up, I was the one who actually read the instruction booklets and had the Nintendo Power magazines so I played along with my brothers by telling them what they should be doing. (There was just as much of them

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. If it hadn't seen the original, I probably would have liked it even more. I actually thought the slo-mo was less heavy handed than in the original. It didn't seem to wallow in the grief as much as the original either but that may be because I'm blending the first

She's better have time to do the last season of Peep Show or else she'll break my heart.

I don't know that I'd call myself a fangirl but I'm definitely a fan. I tend to think of him primarily as a stage actor, particularly Shakespeare which he's particularly good at. So it may depend on which roles you've seen him in. It also helps that he is, by all accounts, incredibly nice and hard working.

I loved this book growing up. It's been a while since I've seen the movie. There was obviously a lot they kept out of the book, particularly about Katie and Johnny's family, and since those were my favorite parts of the book I was a little resentful. I do remember the part with the flowers making me tear up a bit.

That sounds nice. Although I was kind of hoping it meant they'd be appearing in The Producers or something like that…

Tennant tends to be indiscriminate in choosing roles. He's said the novelty of playing the same character in two settings is what made him decide to do this. It's a slightly less questionable decision than when he hosted the Comedy World Cup.

Although the one time they did try to re-make Blackpool didn't go so well…

I love things like this that put these sorts of legendary performances in context. Like when they released the entire episode of Ed Sullivan that the Beatles appeared on. You also see the beginnings of Michael's ruthless business savvy to not only negotiate a solo performance of a song from another label during what

I'm still going to tune in. I lean heavily on the side of "Why is this necessary?" and "Where is Olivia Colman?" But Anya Epstein still has a lot of goodwill from her work on Homicide: Life on the Street and I watched more episodes of Judging Amy than necessary solely because of Dan Futterman. Plus, they threw in
