High school kids living with their parents are not what I consider minimum wage earners, and shouldn't really be part of this "best car for minimum wager earners" discussion. I mean sure, technically they are, but they are not "living" off the income; they are living off their parents, so of course a car is feasible.

Minimum wage? Like $15K a year? Unless they are in high school and their parents bought it, I don't know anyone living on minimum wage who owns a car, let alone an MG, BMW or Porsche. You people are waaaay out of touch.

Yep, and Yogi stole my pikinik basket.

Underrated = Fugly. Sure, I'd love to have any one of these, but let's face it, they were under appreciated because they were not pretty enough, (kinda like my ex).

I've motorcycled thru jellystone a couple of times. The roads are crap, but fun as hell if you get there before all the gawddamn tourists, (although passing a train of slow moving Winnebagoes on a blind, bison sprinkled, downhill curve can be pretty exciting).

It's about time, the Chinese have been perfecting their mullets for 10,000 years.

This is beyond lame, but in real life Seb is pretty gnarly

The dumbass who couldn't find the car threw a serious beat down on the front seat passenger.

A 911 for $12K? I hit NP before reading a word. You can't go wrong at that price.

Fake

I see people posting cars valued at $5-6K, but peopel making $.725 an hour do not have that kind of cash. A true minimum wage earer car is either free (hand me down) or under $1000. Basically it's going to be a mid 80's to early 90's piece of shit; Saturn, Grand Am, Buick, Olds etc. Imports, 2 seaters, softtops or

Trucks aren't pretty, handsome maybe, but never pretty.

I currently pay $400+ per month in fuel, and I can buy a Leaf for $200 a month. that may not technically be "paying for itself", but it's petty darn close.

They are cheap enough that they literally do pay for themselves, plus some. I could park my truck, buy a Leaf and profit $200+ a month. It's too bad they are so damn ugly.

Whoever did the work obviously has some skilz, it's a very clean job, and the rest of the car is awesome, but christ, what were they thinking? That's just sad.

It was a trap. Here's a short list of vehicles I've owned and off-roaded on two continents:

Why do you think these trucks are unsafe? You apparently do not know a lot about cars, but just so you know, the aftermarket suspension lifts are engineered for safety, and the trucks pretty much drive as stock; they're just taller. Sure the bumpers don't line up with a Prius, and they are "hard to see around", but

I drive a lifted truck that has never been off road, but I would consider myself an expert off-roader. I'm sorry you get so scared when there are trucks nearby, (I assume you're a women?) but not all of us lifted truck owners fit your "bro" stereotype; we just like they way it looks. And for the record, my very shiny

Obviously no one is going to the big house over this, but they could certainly detain them, and impound all the cars. That would suck enough.
