If it really is street legal, I like it. It's the perfect beach car; throw in some surfboards, a few coolers of beer....awesome. It would also be a great tow vehicle for a real boat, talk about a head turner.

That dudes got a big job ahead if he's planning to return every scrap of paper throw out a car window. I don't think I like him.
The wheels are cool, but when it comes to sand, it's all about the tyres.
Lame. Kids these days have no imagination. It used to be the whole point was to move the car without doing any damage. We carried a Honda N600 up a flight of stairs, without a scratch, (fyi; they're heavier than they look).
$2200? That would just about cover having all that chrome refinished.
It's subjective. If he had one blinker out, and was using hand signals I'm sure the cop would have been fine, but a stripped car is a different story. He took a legal car and made it illegal. No lights, no mirrors, no turn signals; you couldn't get it registered like that, it shouldn't be on the road.
If nothing else comes out of this disaster, can we at least start putting better batteries in the black boxes? Even if it means doubling or tripling their size; I'm thinking 90 days would be a good number.
Well that certainly escalated quickly. You must be really short. (fyi, it turns out the speedo guy is 5 foot even, I hope you're not that short).
The speedo wearing teacher needs to be fired; anyone with judgment that poor should not be teaching anyone, anything. But what I really want to know is, who convinced a 5'2" bald guy that he was good looking? His mom? Talk about delusional. Freak, stay away from my kids.
Also...for under $1000 you can add a small stable of extra horses to the Ram: chip, cold air intake, exhaust. I'm guessing I'm pushing 415-420? Or more, depending on who I'm talking to.
Nice bus, (I have a '65) but I'm not too sure the crash protection is sufficient enough to be hauling babies. Obviously the front seat is out, but even a slow speed side impact could be devastating. Those things are paper thin. I suppose you could build an internal cage....but what would you bolt it to?
Good call, and it'll still be going strong when the kid learns to drive, (good first car).
What could possibly go wrong?
That's why I always try to wait while they do the work., and I make a point of poking my head in once a while to see how it's going, look at the used parts, etc. It also helps if you bring a box of donuts.
When I was 13 my so-called mates, stripped me to my undies and zip tied me in the back of the city circle train in Sydney. Needless to say, a bound and gagged, half-naked boy on the subway tends to attract some real freaks.
Knowing you get intimidated by trucks warms my heart. I mean, I think my truck is intimidating, but it's nice to hear it from another victim driver
$25b would drill a lot of offshore wells, baby. Until fossil fuels are all used up, there will never be enough incentive to build alternative fuel cars. But once we run out of oil...all bets are off . The private sector will magically flood the market with new technology and 'green' cars that people will actually buy.…
Seemed like a pretty lame course.
I think I would like to take in one of these side shows. Although I could do without the gunplay.
