City players already have a huge advantage compared to any other player out there. If Niantic bans you for farming way too much xp too quickly, because you just so happened to be lucky enough to be in an area with a 10 pokespot loop(all running lures) that you can do in 5 minutes, IT IS OK. It aint the end of the

Because they legitametly thought that people who weren’t cheating couldn’t get that much XP in a single day. To be clear, this is really fucking hard, damn near impossible, to do this; you have to be extremely dedicated to the idea and you need to spend some cash (or have a lot of Poke Coins built up) to do it, plus

plain and simple niantic arent earning money off said unofficial “guides” and the fact that its working 1000x better than their own in game tracker thats broken. so they shut it down. they expect me to use what little free time i have left after work to aimlessly wander around my surrounding area where little to none

I don’t play, and in fact, this is the most I have read about the game, is this article today (other than the ones that say x museum is asking players not to come inside)...

I did read your whole comment, but clearly you need to take a refresher course in debate, writing, or some other similar field. As what I did was ‘draw a comparison using your logic.’

Yeah especially because sometimes it’ll tell me there are certain Pokemon nearby and then I’ll go to Pokevision to see where and they are no where to be found. The game’s tracking system is so bad/broken haha.

Ok, so you're saying that people using an official strategy guide have an "unfair advantage" over people who aren't using the official strategy guide?!? The websites like Pokevision are providing a service that is NO DIFERENT than that provided by the official Pokémon X and Pokémon Y: Official Kalos Region Guidebook.

You already know where all your Pokemons are, you eliminate surprises and working throught the process of exploration. You also have an unfair advantage over other players who are not using those apps/cheats.

Basically no...
This eggs use GPS data, not steps. For some reason millions of people still think this is just a Pokewalker that DID use steps. The only way that simply shaking/rotating/etc the phone makes a difference is if you have a poor GPS signal. If you have a bad GPS signal you’ll notice your character moving

Considering people in rural areas (and even in parts of suburban areas) don’t have much in terms of pokestops, gyms, or even spawned pokemon... I can understand people wanting the ability to focus their efforts.

Honestly that needs to be completely changed to simply show how many meters you are from them.

“It takes the fun out of it”

When developers say things like this, I kind of think they’re idiots. YOUR definition of “fun” is not a universal definition of “fun”.
