Liverpool have purchased van Dijk, Ox, and Salah for just slightly more than the Coutinho fee. Add Keita and Robertson, and they’ve added half a team, including three world class players, for about £70 net. That’s good business.

I was at this game and it was the first ever EPL match I’ve attended (living in NYC makes that sort of thing difficult.)

Salah is, in a way, just as predictable and one-legged as Robben, yet attacks so relentlessly and moves impossibly fast that he creates enough opportunities to eventually stick one or two in the net.

Salah has been so awesome. I remember thinking at the start of the season that maybe he can’t finish...and now I realize that if he could finish he’d have 33 goals.

That heads up goal by Salah was amazing. First, intercepting the pass and then one timing it with precision over Ederson to the back of the net.
