Why would a fair catch of a punt within kicking distance only happen at the end of a half?

Feeling pretty stupid having to ask (and will probably feel even dumber after an answer) but what does a “Saran-wrapped glass of wine” mean in regards to Tad’s, or maybe just in general as an expression? Do they serve their wine in a glass covered by the wrap or something (and if they do, why)? Thanks.

I thought this story was going to start with a limerick; like so:

Her defense: it was a business deal gone bad, which happens all the time. We never intentionally lied or misled anyone. We sincerely believed the science existed to achieve this technology, and as long as we believed it, we can't be accused of intentional fraud.

That Trump’s entire public-facing strategy appears to be “take me seriously, but only when it works in my favor; when I stick my head firmly up my fourth point of contact, I was obviously doing satire” would be, in any sane world, as damning an indictment as any Presidency would need to be entirely written off.
