Lawyers get a bad rap, and lawsuits like this one is a big reason for it. It likely won’t happen, but I would love for plaintiff’s counsel to be sanctioned for bringing such a ridiculous, frivolous suit.

The orderer ordered a cheeseburger; it says so right there at the top: “1 x cheeseburger”. He/she just deleted options from it. That he/she ended up paying a dollar for a piece of cheese is a self-own, but I guess it was ‘worth it for the ‘gram’ or something like that.
It hasn’t. What also hasn’t changed is that many, many, many, many low-/middle-income GOP voters vote R even though they benefit from Dem policies and programs and are disadvantaged by R policies and programs because ... reasons: For some, it’s abortion or other social issues (so much for small government); for…
FREE BEER!!!
a genuine Constitutional amendment enshrining the right of all adults to vote
Good on them for discovering the issue and proactively addressing it. But I’d be pissed if they didn’t try to alert me to the situation. (Hey, FYI, all of your accounts have been deactivated, your ATM card and checks will no longer work; you might want to contact us before entering into any financial transactions.)
BofA allows a bunch of different alerts, including all of those you list. I think Chase does too.
Getting Hannity off the airwaves and into a WH office would be a huge win for America. He won’t stop his obsequious shilling for POTUS, so his no longer having the facade of impartiality would be a welcome change. But Sean isn’t giving up his day job for that. He still has the outsized influence with POTUS, gets to…
Voting against one’s own self-interest is a hallmark of the Trump/GOP base.
Too many times I’ve seen one troll’s thread get bumped to the top of the comments because well-intentioned commeters decided to dog pile onto the thread to call them out.
No, that’s just stupid. Make it easier to vote, sure. Pay them to vote?! I guess if you want an *actual* voter fraud epidemic, sure — pay people to vote. And if people are too lazy to vote when it only determines major healthcare, tax, spending, environmental and other policies, I don’t know if adding $50 to the mix…
That’s great. Then go find and post a graph showing the cost of voting in each state based on racial demographics, if that’s your point. It’s not my job to find the support for your argument. But let’s consider your argument. Your position is that there is a strong correlation between race and voting cost.
That graph doesn’t tell me the difference is white vs. non-white population; it tells me the difference is (with a few exceptions) GOP vs. Dem legislature.
Since we’ve had kids — and they’re too young to t-or-t on their own, we do the unattended-bowl thing as well. Last year we were coming home and I actually saw a kid on our porch trying to load up. I yelled out to him, telling him one piece only, and he freaked out, dumped what he’d taken and ran to the next house. It…
First they announce they won’t reimburse for meal expenses if those meals include red meat, poultry or pork, and now they’re cutting employees off at 48 oz of beer a day?!? So much for making America great again....
“Meat jelly” is a perfect description for it, and I can’t think of many appetizing uses for it other than as a spread on toast. I wouldn’t want to just eat it by the spoonful. I had it at St. John in London, where it’s served with a good quality toast, some fleur de sel and a nice parsley salad, and it was amazing.
Like many (most?) Christians, at least the ones I know.
Roasted bone marrow is delicious, though the texture can also be off-putting.
a raw witchetty grub in australia. i draw the line there. (ps, you have to put them in your mouth ass first or their mouth pinchers will grab your tongue.)
I think most colleges/universities have something similar. When I was in college 20+ years ago, I was on my university’s equivalent (can’t recall the name). Didn’t get to hear any juicy matters like this — usually it was cheating allegations, disputes among roommates that got out of control, etc. The ‘judges’ don’t…
