That was my experience. Lived in Ohio until age 30 and don’t recall seeing them anywhere.

I don’t know about carnivals, but numerous restaurants here in NC have fried pickles on their menus as appetizers (occasionally, as an available side). Basically any pub, tavern, grill, or other sitdown establishment where the menu is 30+% sandwiches/burgers/BBQ, fried pickles will be available. I did not know they…
Are fried pickles a Midwestern thing? Seems more Southern to me. I see them everywhere in the Southeast, but don’t recall seeing them in the Midwest, and when family from there visits they act like they can’t get them at home.

No shit. Fortunately, none of the rescuers were injured. But if one or more had died trying to rescue his sorry ass?! I’d support manslaughter charges against him, at the very least.

I guess Bezos doesn’t want my money today. The Prime Day site is not working for me, either via web or the app (via FireHD (app and Silk), Chrome browser, MSIE browser, iPhone app). I can access deals to which I have a link, but I can’t browse the deals. Apparently others are not having the same issue....

The whole Jack series, really. Union Jack is a nice, well balanced IPA (not overly hoppy). Wookie Jack is a great Black IPA. The aforementioned Easy Jack is a nice, flavorful session IPA. I think there’s also a Double Jack (double IPA), but I don’t think I’ve had that one — but I expect it would be great.
The first deal (spend $10 at Whole Foods or 365 by Whole Foods between now and July 17 will get a $10 credit to use on Amazon.com on Prime Day) is usable even without Prime Now.
Judging from the stars the comment received, I’d say you’re as wrong as Bryan is in the subject missives.
C’est une victoire, sans aucun doute.
No, I’m referring to Chrome, the browser. Right-click in any text box (e.g., the space in which you type a response to this, a new gmail message, the URL address box above, etc.), and you’ll see the paste options.
In fact, please do not allow a cloth dish towel inside your kitchen.
I learned the egg cracking from Pepin years ago and I’ve been doing it that way ever since — though I use the inside of the bowl rather than the countertop or cutting board.
I hear some people call you a space cowboy, and some call you the gangster of love....
On Chrome at least, right-click in a text box and you shoudl have the option to “Paste” and “Paste as Plain Text” (right below Cut and Copy). In non-Chrome Windows programs, there’s usually an option somewhere. I use PureText (mentioned in the post) because it’s tiny and works in every program on Windows: CTRL-V for re…
I’ve noticed that lately too. I hate it.
Thought the same thing. Dude should’ve seen the wrap-around shades on SwimmingSheriffSusie and known he was in some deep shit.
