I think that's a really good analogy, yeah. Still, tossing Dorne overboard is probably fine. It's kind of hard to see what stake they really have in the larger war given that they haven't bothered to develop it.

Happy birthday! :D
I didn't get to watch it right away and made the mistake of visiting literally any social media site before watching it. Spoiled at 2 minutes past the episode. Not saying it's right, but it's the world we live in.
I don't think the writers are going to decide until next season.
That would have been a unique take on Euron Crow's Eye, I admit.
Yeah, they didn't even do a good job of visually distinguishing him from every other ironborn rando.
I'm getting frustrated with how poorly planned this season has been. The way Dany sends off Jorah feels like another aborted plotline. Some time last season, they decided that it was necessary for Jorah to get greyscale and thus stand in for Jon Connington in the books. And I guess they decided they didn't need that…
It could be that showing us that Bran can break the rules is intentional, though. Is there a reason that the old man in the tree couldn't do the important things Bran is meant to do instead? Maybe Bran has some special talent to break into Weirwood.net without needing to be penetrated by trees.
