NASCAR sucks (and it DOES suck) because they not only allow but actively encourage drivers to intentionally smash into each other, and it happens so often that the “Cautions” take out whatever rhythm and skill has preceded it in the race. It’s a pathetic joke.

The only realistic deterrent to this type of dangerous and dirty play is something that significantly penalizes the *team* as well as the player.
