They’re in the same universe. Both shows had cross-overs with Mad About You.

Seinfeld at least had a few episodes that pointed out it was aware of its whiteness.
I was more offended at the size of their apartment in NYC, how much that would’ve cost and that none of them were stock traders.
He doesn’t need it to be in public domain. Weird Al’s work doesn’t violate copyright (because parody is fair use, and he’s obviously parodic), he just prefers not to upset people, since his intention isn’t to actually mock them. The “asking for permission” thing is just him being nice.
I would argue we’re living in a J.G. Ballard novel. But that’s just my opinion.
A movie funded by crypto/blockchain shit? Maybe they can title it
If that’s what happens, then somebody has made a gigantic mistake, because he was the most interesting guy ever. His books were largely attempts to convey things that he believed to be real. He really did believe that an omniscient spiritual space-laser was beaming universal truths directly into his brain. He really…
So, I should assume that Dick’s life will be totally re-written for the screen, and only vaguely reflect on what he actually did?
“Can you speak Bocci?”
“Sir, I am programmed to simulate over 4000 human emotions, except...love.”
They definitely have a crazy drinking culture there. I have a few coworkers who got a year-long assignment in Japan and I have no idea how they survived based on the stories of partying they told me and my experience there on vacation.
I saw people in their 20s in dress clothes or suits passed out on the street every single day I was in Tokyo on a ten-day vacation a few years ago.
The city should never have had that information in the first place. Both government and business have collected far too much personal information on everyone. None of them can be trusted with any of it.
This is good news; so far this has been one of my favorite shows of 2022. A shame you once again choose not to do regular coverage of a quality program.
You can certainly tell his heart isn’t in TDKR. How much of that is the loss of Ledger, and how much of that is just generally being tired of the whole thing, I don’t imagine we’ll ever know, but the film feels perfunctory in a way the first two don’t.
Great cast, good and watchable, and a great twist in the third episode.
My synopsis left out some important motivation. Anderton doesn’t come off as a good guy. He doesn’t ultimately kill Kaplan to save the country but because of now seeing his Minority Reports, he knows Kaplan would destroy Precrime if he doesn’t kill him. He does it so that people’s faith in the Majority Report isn’t…
I have not seen the Batman but I can’t believe that because, wooo is the Dark Knight Rises bad
God, Ubik done right would be so fucking brilliant
Eh, I kind of hate Minority Report. It’s a fine movie, but as a huge fan PKD, it’s just another movie that takes a concept from one his stories, rewrites the plot entirely, and then misses the point. It’s particularly galling with Minority Report because that’s one his few books that could be adapted to a blockbuster e…
