I’m glad this site is finally talking about one of the best new shows of the year. I said in another thread that the premise of Severance is simple on the surface, but the more you think about the ramifications of it, the darker it gets. Yeah, the Severance team really know how to setup a cliffhanger so you can’t wait for next weeks episode. The premise is simple on the surface, but the more you think about the ramifications of it, the darker it gets. Not since Parasite has a mainstream show or movie captured the slow crawl to dehumanizing workers.

God dammit, was not expecting a Samuel Beckett reference in a thread about Michael Bay. I wish I could give you more than one star for that.

And it’s noisy as hell. We have one of these things in our house, and I have forbidden anyone to use it. It’s so. Damn. Loud.

Hey look, no kink shaming here!

Why not both?

Not one mention of Role Models. Shame.

That’s what I mean though. There is cleaning and there is the type of “cleaning” that happens in a guy’s dorm room where he’s just spraying Lysol over dirty clothes. This machine seems like it’s the latter version of “clean”. Also, couldn’t that dirty standing water start to grow bacteria?

Ted’s uncle was a villain in his comics. Maybe they’re gender flipping it and having Jaime fight her instead?

OK, I’ll ask: does someone come along and REALLY clean out all the grease every once in awhile or is every burger cooked on the same dirty grill from now until eternity? It says it’s self cleaning, but c’mon.

The real question is: Should this change my opinion of Miles Davis’ “Birth of the Cool”?

(seriously, one part that always seemed weird in the comics, was that in flashbacks to his origin, his regular human nose was already like that!)

Sounds like lunch time at the all boys Catholic school in Jersey I went to - never try to take anyone’s tatter tots

Within the first 5 minutes of the first episode I was hooked. I like that they color coded the Japanese and Korean subtitles so you could see how some Japanese words made their way into the Korean vernacular.

To me it looked like he has had practice/experience getting hit and knew how to take it.

Even if the screening was delayed?

And this is the reason I hate going to see a movie at the AMC theaters in Burbank. Dirty theaters, literally 30 minutes of commercials and shitty trailers and a room filled with rude idiots who think they should be the center of attention and not the movie. The ArcLight would have politely shown this delusional psycho

Well, that’s too bad. I enjoyed the first season and wanted to see where they go from there, but I have to admit, it wasn’t something I recommended to people like “Black Crab”, “Severance” or “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey”.

This is just an assortment of scabs and collaborators.

Haha! Nah, I guess I’ll drive my beat up 13 year old Toyota that has the paint flaking off of it for a few more years - at least its paid for!
