I know that it’s anything but stock, but it’s still a Mercedes from the ‘60s. $9,900 is not a bad price. Who knows, that Corvette engine may have what it takes to move this thing.

Tough call. With all the parts that still need installation, $3900 is pushing it. But this is a Scirocco, and cleanliness aside, it looks to be in decent shape. I ultimately went NP, but I absolutely could understand someone going the other way.
Agreed. I can absolutely see an 80% CP vote, though.
Man, that car is in pristine condition. That said, a turd is a turd no matter how much polish you put on it, and there are few cars turdier than a Lada.
I didn’t even know they made Rotary wagons... but I’m glad they do. And at $950? I think it’s worth more than that in scrap metal. NP.
I’m not normally one of those Jalops; if a project car is well-built, I will give it a fair shake. But with a turbo behind my head, an external intercooler pointing to the heavens, and a wing that reminds me of electrical pylons, this is not well-built. CP.
I know it’s still early in the game, but the fact that this isn’t screaming away with a NP is shocking to me. It’s a brown (1) wagon (2) in great shape (3) with low miles (4) jump seats (5) and a good mill (6). Top it off with a not-unreasonable asking price, and it should be a big winner.
The exterior, while ratty, wouldn’t bother me as much as if it didn’t run. $1500 seems more than fair.
It’s just above the$3,000, “what the hell” threshold and, at least on this side of the pond, it’s a rare and cool little number. Condition issues aside, it’s an easy NP.
I love Beemers, I love wagons, I don’t love that price. Maybe at 10 or 11k.
It’s funny that you mentioned Christian music, because my first reaction to this was, “Oh dear God.” There are so many reasons to run away from this, at least for me personally. Let’s just say it’s the price and leave it at that.
I was debating this for a while until I saw its original MSRP. CP.
Classic Mercedes. A W124 that the seller wants too much money for.

I do love me some Kei trucks and I’m fortunate enough to live in a state that isn’t as thoroughly regulated as California, but $4200? I don’t know that I can conscion that for anything less than a pristine example, even factoring in shipping.
The only reason it took me this long to vote CP is because I wanted to finish learning about the trainwreck.
“If it were a standard 318/325 it would probably go for a couple grand in this shape.”
I hate giving a CP to such a beauty, I really do, but 67 thousand? I’m not sure you could part it out for that much.
I like that car just fine. Not sure about the price, though.
I know this is late and probably won’t get approved, but as it happens, I found a commercial for the Silhouette with Julie and Leonard Nimoy. And yes, it is loaded with Star Trek puns.
