After spending decades in the corporate world I can tell that 100% is purely a PR move. There is no intent other than to buy goodwill.

The average American that buys a pickup truck rarely scuffs the bed liner and may tow something once a year. They are going to sell the shit out of these things. Especially with a crew cab and a short bed.

4th Gear - all these incentives are really moot once all of the states create an “EV Road Tax” at time of sale. Arizona already has, with 20% of the sticker price as an upfront tax at time of registration. On a $38k vehicle, that just about wipes out the current incentive.

Having lived in a half-dozen states and driven in all but 3, I have to say that Michigan is by far the worst.

Face it, the Haas cars aren’t all that fast. But Mazepin is just ridiculous. He ran that race as if he was trying to lag several second behind P19 just so he could get...clean air? He was lapped before the mid-point of the race. 

What was truly astounding was how Mazepin managed to get slower as the race went on. I think he was dropping 3+ seconds on every lap to the leaders.

You would hope that they had some minimum requirement to hold a seat in F1 other than “Dad Is Rich”. Mazepin is a hazard on the track.

Why, F1 had no idea about the human right violations going on there. Shocked, shocked they are!
