As a “silver lining” myself, I kind of agree- in a “I’m here and did pretty OK for myself” point of view.

As a graduate of West Point, I can confirm that (at least when I was there) cadets receive extensive training in what they are and are not allowed to do in uniform and in mufti.

The fairer policy would be to simply suspend the male-only clubs until such time as the female-only clubs have exerted an aggregate economic and social force as the male-only clubs have since their inceptions. Once the balance is righted, then reinstate the male-only clubs and force all clubs to accept all genders.
