As does Thomas Newman - eleven nominations, no wins. I'm honestly hoping that he wins this year for Saving Mr. Banks, as I'm a big fan of his music.

This comment reminds me how loaded the movie is with great character actors: Maury Chaykin, Eddie Deezen, Barry Corbin, not to mention the great opening sequence with John Spencer and Michael Madsen.
I always felt safe and secure knowing that WarGames was there, ready to launch at the push of a button, as a useful deterrent against boredom. I'm sure MAD it's going away!

I think so. Though I do recall that they chose the most unremarkable-looking dinosaurs in history to serve as the stars of that movie.
