John Lewis is still with us!

Dammit, despite the pleasantness of your parallel structure, I simply cannot agree with this statement.

As does Thomas Newman - eleven nominations, no wins. I'm honestly hoping that he wins this year for Saving Mr. Banks, as I'm a big fan of his music.

I am soooo hoping that Amy Adams gets a whole lot of attention as award season heats up. Not only does she deserve it from a career perspective, she completely deserves it just for this single role.

When you build this LEGO set, you're building Springfield!

And this was always such a SUPER Newswire! And you've been SO LONELY!

Just reached page 200 and am enjoying every single word. Thanks again for your enthusiastic advocacy!

Yes indeed! Prim Michael Ensign and Angry James Tolkan!

This comment reminds me how loaded the movie is with great character actors: Maury Chaykin, Eddie Deezen, Barry Corbin, not to mention the great opening sequence with John Spencer and Michael Madsen.

I always felt safe and secure knowing that WarGames was there, ready to launch at the push of a button, as a useful deterrent against boredom. I'm sure MAD it's going away!

Man, I love that movie. It's ripe for rediscovery!

Seconded!

There already was a definitive version of A Christmas Carol. The Muppers were in it.

UGGGGGGGGGH.

Perhaps Shadiana Sherman posted it twice as well!

I think so. Though I do recall that they chose the most unremarkable-looking dinosaurs in history to serve as the stars of that movie.
