Well firstly, pregnancy is temporary. You’re talking about the last couple months that a woman might be working before going on maternity leave. Second, the argument you yourself acknowledge, that it’s a medical reason, is paramount. Medical and health accomodations, especially temporary ones, are reasonable.

Well a big reason that it’s different from a pharmacy not distributing birth control (which I don’t really think should be legal either, but that’s another argument) is that the airline does serve alcohol. Why should her co-workers have to do her work as well? Can she get a job as a bartender and stand around all day?
