All I want is for Canada to have a commercially successful, independent manufacturer. We’ve come close on so many companies, and always seem to fail. Just one win!
“I smelled alcohol” is what the cop used to justify arresting the guy. Doesn’t matter if he had been drinking or not, since what you can or can’t smell can’t be proven later...
A “high speed pursuit” would then make this all felony evading which changes this scenario completely. Please keep your eye on the ball - even when licking boots
Owen, you’re a young man headed to college, so you’re going to need something that properly fits the college. If you were going to the University of Georgia, I’d tell you to get a used F-150 for tailgating and sheer redneck fun. If you were headed to UCLA, I’d recommend something with two wheels, so you can split…
The thing with EVs is that generally range = speed.
The fact that Mazda of all companies threw touchscreen climate controls in this car is utterly mindboggling and needs to be called it out with absolute impunity by the car community and car journalists. Why, WHY after spending so much money and time on designing the least distracting interiors in the industry…
I’d argue that the best generation Civics—appearance wise—were all a bit boring.
As a rule of thumb, anyone who starts yakking about how hard they work and how many years they’ve blah-blahed is an asshole.
In some Canadian provinces, snow tires are mandatory, but more importantly we also get a break on insurance if we use them.
LOL at the AWD in snow with all seasons equals more security. The only thing you’re securing is a collision at higher speed. An AWD vehicle isn’t going to stop or turn any quicker than a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Folks thinking they can get away with no-season tires in snow because they have AWD is epically dumb. I live…
Don’t you also have snow tire requirements? They do just just over the border in Quebec.
I rented an i3 once, and figured it would be great in the snow, just like a Beetle. RWD, rear engine, and skinny tires are a great combo!
put this comment at the top.
Here in Finland less than a quarter of cars have AWD and it snows everywhere. It’s not an issue unless you are an idiot.
TBH, I’ve owned both Tesla and Chevrolet’s electric offerings. Neither service experience was worth writing home about.
I just can’t respect a car enthusiast who didn’t buy their first car until they were 19. Any true gearhead has a vehicle by the time the are old enough to drive.
Way back in the early 90s, I was in Germany for a couple months. At the time, there were still giant US military bases with lots of personnel all over the place. The 4th Gen Camaro had just come out and Chevy was offering great deals to US service members, including those in Germany. As I explored Germany, I could…
Oohhhh, yeah, no, agree with you.
Because unlike other stage magicians, he claimed he really did have psychic powers.
