IIRC there was a Lincoln variant of this concept too. Now that you put the Ford next to it it’s impossible not to see the same car.
Bland copycats are not good enough for the Koreans anymore, but it does look like a Chinese clone of a mashup of the big 3 American luxury sedans.
My first thought, “this is a Schyster, not a Benefactor.”
I think people expect a retro version of a car to look like said car, and not like early 2000s American sedans.
