Oh man, I play so much better solo after I’ve had a few drinks...like, the effect is noticeable. My friends have given me some side-eye after admitting it to them, but short of popping Xanax, it’s one of the only ways I can stay calm and collected when playing alone.

All aboard the Hot Take Express! *eyeroll* (not directed at you, obvs!)

Has anyone watched Versailles on Netflix? Is it worth it? I made it through the first episode, but after the “black dwarf baby offspring” plot, I just couldn’t.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, it’s nice to see people - particularly legislators - vocally denouncing and turning away from their clearly corrupt (and insane) party. Buuuuut, I also feel like she ascribes to the Megyn Kelly School of Taking a Stand - in which one is only interested in justice and

Ha! I sat my desk saying it over and over, trying to spell it out...I kinda hope someone overheard me, to be honest.

It’s probably my favorite scene in that whole movie because on the one hand, you’re super tense thinking they’re about to be found out, but on the other, it’s just so damned hilarious. Christopher Waltz’s insane giggle really made it, too!

Unfortunately for this administration, you can’t really just fire the public at large,

Paging Ms. Lindsey Graham and Sen. John McCain! It’s time for your dog and pony show!

The sad thing is, Emma Watson’s were from a costume fitting - so that excuse doesn’t even fly this time around. But that doesn’t matter, because people will find some way to shame her over it anyway :|

God, I really hate that school with a passion. I worked in Evanston on Northwestern’s campus at a non-affiliated company for a year and a half, and hated those students with a passion I found disconcerting. Walking into traffic without looking (CONSTANTLY), clogging up the sidewalks and entrances to restaurants just

Oh god, tell me the consulting firm was ZS...

I had a reversible Chicago Bulls Starter jacket in the 90s, as every self-respecting elementary schooler in the Chicagoland area did.
