"Or do we go back to Oberyn’s death at the hands of The Mountain as the initiating act, thus justifying Ellaria’s actions? It’s a complex web, morality."

The only posts I'll get Disqus notifications on years after the fact are some (indignant) comments I made on the AV Club review for the HIMYM finale. *grumble grumble*
He said off-screen bondage time, you moron.
Yeah, the Hamilton tickets thing is *really* what took me out of it.
"The real monsters in Anne Hathaway’s Colossal aren’t the ones destroying Seoul." They're the friends we made along the way.
So that ending scene was terrible, but I just wanted to express my glee when I realized they were pulling a reverse Chekhov's gun. I don't think I've ever seen that before!
"It’s a season of resurrections, from physical ones like Jon’s and presumably The Hound’s"
"She says she has “other skill sets and gifts that are much, much stronger” and she is “obligated to exercise and use” them, adding that she’s “more intellectually minded” and very into “alternative history, antiquities, and archaeology.”"
Yeah, that's mine too! *shakes hands*
I mean, sure. We have two pieces of inconclusive evidence that contradict each other. Not everything GRRM writes in a note to his editor has to be true. And not everything that's on the show is the same in the books (especially when the show has a long history of combining book characters).
Yeah, I just saw that. So I stand corrected there! Still, I wonder why. What he's up to now doesn't correspond to anything Coldhands has done yet in the books (although in the next book, who knows). And didn't GRRM write in a note to his editor that (in the books) Benjen isn't Coldhands?
Are we really sure that Benjen on the show is supposed to correspond to the book's Coldhands? The book and the show each have a guy on horseback beyond the Wall who saves characters we care about, but it doesn't mean they're the same.
Pretty sure Summer is a boy-direwolf?
"Apparently the Greyjoys are Aeron (priest) and Euron (pirate). Not to be absolutist, but I really think a good story ought to name its characters within the text instead of treating one’s basic identifier as insider knowledge."
"Game Of Thrones has done crazier stuff, so who knows?"
KGB knows everything.
I thought he was the zeroth Avatar?
Wow, five year old me did *not* notice how badly dubbed that show was. Or how at all dubbed.
If you've ever fidgeted nervously with your iPhone 6 or 6s, you've probably noticed that when you double tap the home button, a blank canvas pushes half the screen down. For a while I just assumed they were going to put something useful there and forgot, but then the other day I stopped being an idiot and realized:…
"The songs on Down In A Hole reportedly draw from Sutherland’s personal experiences, not Jack Bauer’s, which means that the jugular-tearing will probably be kept to a minimum."
