I’m assuming Alex works at Mattel. I was there for about 10 years. You can’t imagine the cool stuff that would show up in the parking lots.

It should have come from the factory in a blister pack.

Just getting some natural light coming in through the roof is a huge benefit; even when the sunroof is closed the light coming through makes the cabin feel much more open.

That actually looked pretty sweet...

Who said you have to open a sunroof for it to be useful? My kid has spent hours on road trips telling me what clouds and things look like through the pano roof. He spots planes and tells us if we're catching up to them or not. A very worthwhile feature.

Ditto - I’d rank sunroof above dozens of other features in cars today.  As soon as it’s warm enough out, the sunroof is open.

I’m the guy you aren’t talking about wrt sunroofs. I use mine every sunny day.

This is a great one. Paddle shifters just kinda tossed in all over the place and for no effect.

Bigger wheels as a premium option. Why? 18" standard is already too large - why the hell would you want even more rim and less tire? Ruin ride quality AND pay more for tires over time.

Came here to say this. That might possibly be the dumbest reason I can think of to get rid of a car you “Loved”  and now own and have no trouble with. “I’ll teach those people at Carvana! I’ll sell my car after they already took my money and don’t give a shit anymore!”

“I loved the car, but I hated the experience so much I didn’t want it anymore,”

That’s pretty epic.

I prefer our space one for Alabama, the Saturn V predecessor plate was nice too.

Ronin had the right idea.

Nissan (Autech) Stagea RS260. Looks like a naughties family wagon on nice alloy wheels and some wannabe aero.

The Audi S8 Plus. To any non car-person it just look as a normal car, and to many car-guys/girls, it still looks like a regular A8, but this “old man’s car” is a missile. 605 hp, sub 4 seconds 0-60 in every test there is of this S8 and near 200 mph top speed. Put normal silver wheels and it’s the best car to fly under

GMC Syclone! Even with plastic cladding and menacing red scratch graphics, it still looks like a small boxy pickup.

This is pretty much stupid cheap for any Corvette, even a 120 hp late 70's model with a missing T-Top. So inspect it, and it is probably a NP even if it has some things to sort out.

What I’m thinking of is something like TSMC just opening a fab in Kansas or something. We produce enough automobiles in NA that having a supply of semiconductors not subject to whatever China wants to accomplish that day might be worth it. And maybe shipping prices from China shouldn’t be so cheap? Those tankers are
