For the sake of transparency, I do want to mention something about Kiva. While they are doing some good by providing access to capital to people who wouldn't typically receive it, the whole process of 'giving' someone a loan is a little misleading. (In defense of Kiva, it does mention this on the site.)

Slightly biased here, but I LOVE San Diego's new terminal. They have put in some local eateries and breweries and every seat in the waiting areas has an outlet. EVERY SEAT. Given, I don't think they have them working yet, but the possibility is there.
