The rubric you set up is about someone being spoiled and your inability to relate to that. That's very seperate from an inability to relate to someone who is white.

Part of what you said makes the author’s point though. There is this kind of lazy and dismissive criticism going around. You say the argument has no merit, okay, fine, but can you even explain why? Or are you satisfied at simply leaving it at that and then the rest of us will just take your word for it?

Why don't you address the merits of the argument instead of scolding the author? You sound like a massive hypocrite.
