I don't know her but this goes against my "Lizzy Caplan should be in everything" principle so it's not that great.

If you're a fan of hers, check it out. The show has a way of using her talent that is quite unique, and smart.

"Either they can’t remember how many times they’ve built conflict out of
those six words, or they just don’t care how often they repeat
themselves."

You think Legion is a difficult TV show to understand? Keep in mind that some people had to understand this as a script! This apparent lack of continuity must be hard to visualize in scripted form.

Ladies and gentlemen, let's all give a round of applause to Faye Dunaway, who didn't ask Beatty why he was taking time reading the winner, went in and read "La La Land" even though Emma Stone's name was very likely in evidence above it, let Beatty clean the mess alone on stage and reportedly refused to talk about the

Loyalty does not equal romance. In Battlestar Galactica, Adama and Tigh were at least as close, if not closer.

There's no question the hate is over the top. I think Fallon deserves some criticism because he could have said no to the interview, he had enough leverage for it. It's pretty clear someone at NBC likes Trump and wanted him on their shows and that Fallon was too much of a pushover to object. The moment Trump was

Pretty much everyone agrees that Jimmy Fallon deserves the shit he got for interviewing Trump: you can't start making jokes with a racist guest. And yet, no matter how angry you are at him, you can't fault him for misrepresenting himself: he's a completely non-controversial comedian who was absolutely the wrong person

What I'm saying is that if her priority #1 is to protect Radcliffe and her priority #2 is to protect the framework, there was no contradiction: she had to chose to protect Radcliffe over protecting the framework when both agendas were in conflict. That discussion that led to Radcliffe inadvertently ask Aida to kill

It's extremely rare that a AOS episode gets a great review that I don't agree with - this is by far the most underrated superohero show out there, with Marvel's Netflix shows having too long seasons and CW's DC shows being fanservice tied together with ducked tape - but last night did not fully work for me.

That scandal is really hurting the image of every sexist, neo-nazi troll out there.

Kidman and Witherspoon are actresses I've enjoyed for a while - especially Kidman - but for a reason or another, they started making projects that didn't really interest me and I lost track of their career. Big Little Lies reminded me of how much I like them and just for this, I am grateful.

I gave him enough chances. I'll pass.

There's a lot of what you say that I agree with but it also illustrate my problem with Maher. If you're going to talk about the specific problems a specific religion is having, you have to use finesse, like you just did.

In my experience, Maher has very little to say about what needs to be done to prevent terrorist attacks and a lot more to say about who needs to be blamed, or specifically what needs to be blamed, i.e. Islam. Contrary to what he thinks, social context matters. The context we live now is that people are a lot more

People who have sex with women are never sexist.

As you get to know Maher more, you may grow more frustrated with him. Most people of the left who hate him today feels the same: yes, he can be very funny and yes, he can make excellent points but then, he's all chummy with Milos. But then, his criticism of Islam sounds more and more like Islamophobia.

I thought that moment came when he co-hosted the Oscars. His reputation has never been the same since, even if his connection to Apatow and especially Rogen means he never misses any work.

I'll be with you on this if it becomes a recurring thing. If it's just a one-off Fatal Attraction-like thriller parody, I'm okay with it.

This is not a very good show so far. I am not sold on Hudgens yet. Part of it might be the writing but if you're going to have your main character be both annoyingly optimistic and capable of a machiavellic scheme, like she was this week, you need a darn good actor to pull it off. Maybe it's the presence of Danny Pudi
