Against your argument, many would say the fact that Hillary is even able to run for president after her political shortcomings in the past is also proof that the majority can be wrong.

i don’t see any major disadvantages of getting rid of the electoral college is my point i suppose. I understand years ago why it was needed, but with the day and age we live in now it no longer serves it’s purpose. I think the best solution would be 1) forcing the electoral college to vote what the state votes and 2)…
The “less than ten percent” equals 20 years of essentially incorrect presidencies. The point remains, it’s a faulty and outdated system. And arguing that those who lost would later become president anyways is a moot point that does nothing to excuse the electoral college’s shortcomings. Neither does observing whether…
the usual argument is that they’ve never done it in a manner that swings the election one way or another, but all it takes is once to ruin the country by electing the wrong person in office. and if it were ever gonna happen, it would be in this election.
If you’re truly using a popular vote, state representation wouldn’t really matter. The conversation changes from“how can I attribute to my state voting for the right person” to “how can I vote for the right person”. It removes the borders.
Arguments could be made that we already don’t have “intelligent informed” citizens, by both parties. To Trump supporters, Hillary is a criminal that should be in jail; and to Hillary supporters Trump and all of his supporters are racist white-supremests.
at the very least, states should have their electoral college vote proportionally to how the majority vote for that state went, rather than this “all or nothing” nonsense. while i haven’t researched the technicalities of how that would work, I’m guessing doing so would still preserve giving less power to the more…
that very concept just pushes the idea of the government “elite” controlling elections. do you really think a majority vote would elect a crazy person? and before you argue thats what they are trying to do with trump, the same could be said for liar and fraud Hillary Clinton.
Are you kidding me? This is news but nothing about Hillary’s crimes are even reported? But no the media isn’t rigged to work against Trump..
Korra was very hit and miss. The season where she faced the group of killers that each had different abilities was probably my favorite. hated the season finale and following season though where she pretty much lost all her bad-ass-ness because she got beaten
