Every time someone raves about an ipad/iPhone game I buy it. Then I regret it, because the controls suck. You say they work surprisingly well. I have fallen for that line many times.

What a stupid fucking decision. "Hardcore" gamers already have a negative perception of Nintendo, and this just makes it worse. Nintendo needs to be aggressively appealing to gamers right now, and this is NOT how you do it.

I really love Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for the GameCube and Tenchu: Shadow Assassin for the Wii. I even like Tenchu: Dark Secret.

I LOVE Metroid: Other M. I think it is one of my favorites and stands proudly next to Metroid Prime and Super Metroid.

Yes they are absurdly easy to stealth around, but that doesn't negate what I consider to be a poor design decision. Please don't use the tension argument either. I like Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2. I'll probably play this one too. Wish it was hitting next-gen consoles though, I'll fully have moved on to Xbox One and PS4 by time this hits.

I really love the Halo series. It has interesting campaigns, and balls-out insane multiplayer. The MP has that anything-can-happen feel that makes Battlefield MP so enjoyable as well.

One of my all-time favorite games. The characters, the somber over-tones, the insanely well-written short stories...all of it blends into this wonderful package.

I don't think I'll ever forget the surge of emotion and power I felt when about halfway or two-thirds through Tomb Raider when you surprise some enemies and one shouts "She's still alive!" and Lara yells back "That's right, I'm still alive and I'M COMING FOR ALL OF YOU!" Such a perfect moment.

Tomb Raider is a masterpiece because it essentially recreates Lara from ground up, and it manages to have some of the most well-designed, all-around fun gameplay I have seen in years.

Let's not forget how great Tomb Raider is! Some of the best gameplay I have had in a very long time.
