Unfortunately she said she won’t. But she’s producing the live-action show.

Whether it was intentional or not, the death of Rick Prime sure reads different after knowing what happened with Roiland.

RICK PRIME: What’s your life without me?!
RICK C-137: Let’s find out...

And to a lesser extent, killing the versions of R&M from Space Jam feels like a minor apology to fans. Harmon’s never shied

Meet the new Moana, the same as the old Moana.

Is there a “White Bro” alert that goes out to summon them to spam articles? Because there is no reason for them to be here in such large numbers. They did the same on a “True Detective” piece recently. Not buying there’s this much real interest in an episode of SNL.

Tom Nook is the fluffer who readies the youth for what Chase will eventually do to them.

That’s not what the Wall Street Journal quote I’ve seen says. It refers to vertical format before and independent of the idea of mini episodes: “Benioff and Weiss, who have been friends since grad school, weren’t crazy about HBO’s then-owners, AT&T, whose executives once asked whether ‘Game of Thrones’ could be shot

For funsies, I wanted to see what it was like if some poor editor had the unfortunate task of trying to convert the show into that format.

I was initially going to respond that Bavarians don’t consider Hamburg to be really Germany anyway, but I live elsewhere and hence have tact.  ;)

There are plenty of issues with the final season of GoT, but anyone who thinks that the broadstrokes weren’t exactly what GRRM was always planning, you are kidding yourself.

Well, yes, of course, but you’re supposed to respond with, “Oh, not in Hamburg, no, it’s a Bavarian expression

Robbie always says it’s full of erotic elements. I don’t see it so much as erotic. I see it more full of obscenity. It’s just - Barbieland is vile and base. I wouldn’t see anything erotical here.

Headline:

Unless human beings mutate, filming vertically will always be colossally dumb.

The hyperbolic headline and butchering of the original quote sure makes it sound like full episodes were going to be filmed vertically (which makes no sense for the tv viewing public), when in reality hbo was proposing short “mini” episodes filmed vertically.

I get the feeling you may be right, and this show may be heading for...

True. I know a lot of people cite The Rock, but John Cena’s performance as Peacemaker is freaking awesome.

if we start thinking of wrestlers as athletes the list grows considerably

I’m in that boat. I totally dig her stuff and way outside that demo as well. But there’s plenty of modern/current stuff that isn’t my bag at all.
