These names make pro gaming feel more like professional wrestling. There’s reason for that - a lot of competitive gaming has been about performance and swagger as much as it’s been about winning.

My Halo name was “Your Hubris” for this very reason. Really ticked off my fellow freshman year, philosophy major bros. I try not to think about how much of losers we were. Thanks for bringing it up.
