It is the privately owned ordinary cars that are the true losses, because those are cars people cared enough for to tranship rather than replace. They meant something to someone, and that is a shame to lose those emotional connections.

1) We always parked ours at our house, but if you need to store figure on $150-200 a month minimum. 2) Repairs are an ongoing process and everything breaks. A used unit will 100% be more reliable than a new unit. For a new unit, expect on it being sidelined for the first 6months to a year. Quality on new travel

Not to mention that it’s generally nicer to just stay in a hotel or model when you go on vacation... and cheaper too when you compare ALL costs related to owning an RV (including the cost of the tow vehicle). 

I’ve had neighbors with RVs and friends with RVs.   I’ll say this for them.  They weren’t as broke as the ones with boats.
