Reread it, I think you missed something.

Fuck you and your slide shows.

Enron and PG&E screwed California. This is not a technology issue, but a corporate and political one.

I picked my Scout project partially for this reason. It’ll be the last ICE I’ll own, and I can reasonably easily keep going until we can justify a BEV conversion. Our 07 XC90 will last just long enough that we’ll have a great variety of options when we finally pull the trigger on a BEV (neither my wife or I have

Completely agree. I bought a Volvo S90 last year so I could fit two car seats in the back seat. After the kids are in boosters and can fit in a smaller car, I’m going full electric. It will also give me some time to get solar and battery systems installed in the house, along with some electric upgrades to my dated

How true. It doesn’t matter how fast the state will let you drive if there is some jackass doing 50 in the passing lane.

A speed limit of 80 with actual cruising speeds averaging around 85 seemed perfectly fine on a recent road trip through flat smooth states like South Dakota, etc. You can definitely cover some serious distance on a road trip with the right conditions. (good weather, visibility, light traffic, etc.)

Speed limits are fine in most cases. Whats sorely lacking is enforcement and education about passing lanes. Until that’s fixed it doesn’t matter how much you raise the limits, I’ll still be stuck flashing my high beams at some idiot doing 50 in the passing lane on I-95 who moved to that lane position immediately after

Except most houses have 2 vehicles, so more like a double in electricity.

1st gear: Volvo is right, I don’t want a gas engine anymore. I bought my last ICE vehicle at the end of 2020 and plan to replace it with an EV when I burn it out in 4-5yrs. I have a truck and a fun car that won’t need to be replaced for a while but both of those applications would be fine for electric. I have a 50A

Is this not an 8th gen GTI that was just released like a year ago? A lot of the bones (MQB) are likely shared with the MKVII, but it is a new generation. The MQB is a great platform; no reason to can it.

Slides show of comments? Nope.

This rules.

You’re making it too easy, man! :P

Floppy disk save icon says hello.

It was also established that symbol consistency is good, even if the underlying symbols don’t make inherent sense anymore.

Pretty sure it doesn’t have one of those.”

I doubt it. I think it’s more likely that he’s the kind of egotistical fuckwad who thinks that anything that reminds him he can’t do whatever he wants, of which a traffic ticket is a mildly annoying example, is a personal affront of the highest order. Those people always need to challenge these things - he’s basically

Adam, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the Morning Shift refreshingly free from stupid.

We get plenty of sun here in MA to make it worth it. There’s tons of houses and commercial buildings around here with them. I’m with you on Seattle though
