Owned one of these, great car. But unfortunately they’re too old at this point and mostly severely abused...they were pretty fragile things to begin with.

Given that it IS an A4.

Those Volvo interiors just look too weird to me compared to what geely has done with them. I would go for a used E class wagon, won’t be too hard to find one in their budget if you go back a couple years with hard depreciation.

The volvo is clearly the best suggestion above but a few cars were left out:

And toyota didn’t fool me when the 3rd gen Tacoma just a 2nd gen with a weaker motor and some new sheet metal here and there.

The Taco has been over-rated for 20 years.

The additional power should be noticeable. I tried to find a dyno readout for the motor to see if it makes a good amount of low end power, thats one area the latest tacoma is no longer shining

Hey, it’s just like I tell all of my partners: I may not hit rock bottom, but I’ll fuck up the walls on the way down

If the interior didn’t need to be gutted and the seats rebuilt, I’d buy one just to try it out.

My current Tacoma. As soon as a reasonably-priced EV that can tow a medium-sized boat appears. It’s been nothing but trouble ($8.5k in repairs over 6 years) and I avoid driving it as much as possible because my Model 3 is so much nicer to drive.

My cushy well-educated desk job has cameras all over the offices too.

I enjoy the career that I put a LOT of time and energy into being highly qualified for. I never expected to get a McJob with no qualifications other than having a driver’s license and have it to be lucrative and satisfying.

This isn’t a man’s truck, this is a Hipster poser truck.

Easter begins with a capital E (in text, not just in titles).

Most applications that directly use electricity rather than fossil power are more efficient with that electricity than they are the energetic content of the fossil fuel. For example, cars.

The Hayabusais the Harley of the sport bike world. Its oversized, bad handling, and ridden by people who think theyre WAY cooler than they are. I rode an 08 recently and it was the worst thing on two wheels ive ever touched besides and HD. Ill stick to my CBR’s or standard sport bikes, thank you very much.

Winter ‘tis the season to buy cars with less than perfectly functional convertible tops. The seller can’t be beaten down enough for this egregious mistake.  NP

Except CRVs, Foresters, and Outbacks ARE objectively shitty vehicles......

I admit to having fought the outback for years. I do a lot of outdoor stuff and I live in an outdoorsy city where it seems like every 3rd car is a subaru. And I fought it hard. My VW sportwagon was RED and MANUAL and it was DIFFERENT and it was... not that great at hauling a canoe down a shitty dirt road to get to the

$4k gets you my off road ready 1994 Plymouth Voyager.
