No doubt, I thought this was Flesh Light cover before I read the complete headline.

Lol Mac you drew the ire of the morality police! Where’s Dana Carvey when you need him...

“...any reasonable person would conclude that a video depicting a woman being bound and gagged in a basement is in poor taste”? Gizmodo hypes horror movies, yet wants to discourage young, aspiring film makers? At least have a bit of editorial consistency.

I thought only Nexus 6 replicants had the short lifespan. Lifespans of other models are not mentioned, and Deckard could easily be one of those.

Those are unrealistic body contortions; I call foul!

So, myths. I.e., not real. Sorry, it’s not possible to commit blasphemy against a religion that you don’t practice.

First saw this on /r/dataisugly. To be fair, it’s a neat visualization, but its utility as a graph begs a bit of explanation.

Of course, start out with a Ghostbusters comment. It’s just dangling there like a steak on a fishing line...

Criticize Norse gods and heroes (fictional) played by non-Scandinavians: You’re racist. I didn’t give a flip myself either way, I cared about performances.

I still don’t get the appeal of this show. I fit its target demo, I get all the references, and there are some laughs to be found, but I still don’t really like it. It seems to try too hard, like most of the recent Adult Swim fare. I really hope they don’t import this vibe into the new season of MST3K :/

Tad O’Malley is actually a play on Infowars and Alex Jones, which is still topical (one of his goons was at the Boston bombing press conference on day one asking if it was a false flag operation).

The versions of the creatures in the Alien posters are innaccurate for the films they’re representing. One of them in the Aliens poster, for example, is clearly from the AvP promotional material:

This is unfortunately due to the business-oriented nature of film-making these days. They just hired people that the target audiences would pay to see, given that these are all American/European productions. Bollywood, Hong Kong, and Japan do the same in their respective markets.

Suggested alternate headline:

Looks like fun fluff to watch after a few margaritas from the restaurant that shares a parking lot with the theatre. Also, nit-picky: Northern Africans are considered “White” in typical HR classifications:

Also, I believe Jan in the Pan and the monster from The Brain that Wouldn't Die are on the boat as well.
