This is why so many lawsuits that Trump initiates get dropped - when you bring your grievances to a lawsuit, they start digging around in your business.

I’m never going to side with Trump on virtually anything, but this was such an obvious and completely idiotic screw up by O’Donnell. There is a reason you don’t rush to report something without verifiable sourcing. We’ve been in this hell long enough, and journalists now must understand, that Trump can lie repeatedly

There are really only two options: Remain in the EU or hard Brexit. Any deal they are going to get is going to be almost as bad as a hard Brexit because the EU has to stand firm on the issue of countries leaving.  The problem is the third of the country that believes in basically a “unicorn Brexit” where they get

Let’s suppose for one minute it was a Black man who punched an 11-year-old white girl...

They always wanted a hard Brexit. It’s pretty apparent. Disaster capitalism only can happen in the event of a disaster; the dissolution of public schools in Louisiana for example.

I wish they wouldn’t close it, because it sure does seem undemocratic.

What are the odds of a no-deal brexit and continuing woes with china trade/recession warning signs in the US triggering a US, and maybe even global, recession?

“No deal brexit that will fuck our economy” wasn’t the question that was voted on.

I’m sure this is the exact same sentence they would give if a black man of 6'5" and 250 hit and pushed a white girl.

Meanwhile - White man gets a workshop while a Latino man faces 2 years of jail time for stealing a teen’s MAGA hat and throwing soda in his face. Justice in this country is a GD joke. If only minorities didn’t exist in USA, those early white indentured servants would certainly have eaten their cotton growing masters by

YEAAAAAAAAAH

The fact that Sanders and Warren can tie Biden with real progressive policies brings me hope.

If none of the Sacklers end up flipping burgers to make rent on a studio outside Buffalo and make payments on a 2009 Focus, I will consider them having gotten off easy.

A huge part of this is short-sighted decisions designed to boost either the year-over-year bottom line or the metric to which some executive’s incentive is pegged (i.e. one of the basic structural problems with our current American flavor of capitalism).

I’m a millennial that thankfully isn’t as destitute as all the rest claim to be on Twitter, but it’s still a solid $200 for me, wife, and toddler to go to a ballgame between tickets, bullshit “convenience fees” online, parking, and food. Going to a game has become a once, maybe twice a year thing for our family,

The problem with attendance is that bad teams still charge too much for tickets.  I went to Michigan for a work trip a few weeks ago and looked into Tigers tickets while I was there.  $100 for the cheapest ticket that I could find for a team that is absolute trash this season.  Yeah, no thanks.
