Yes, please list the names of the scientists, their background, and who they work/consult for.

A few polls have shown that approximately 15% believe that Sandy Hook, Stoneman Douglas, etc. were faked to implement gun control.

If you want to protect “cadillac” medical plans, you can always create a market for medicare supplements, just like we do now.

That 25% is still troubling, but I suspect Cubans and a handful of other subgroups (abortion voters, etc.) are what’s propping up his numbers.

Yeah, courts are VERY reluctant to “pierce the corporate veil” even though it’s clear they’re trying to hide money and push themselves into bankruptcy.

Sure, have all the money in this [now] shell company! We’ll just take our billions that we not at all suspiciously decided to pay ourselves just before our bankruptcy”

Socialism doesn’t kill, people kill. It’s just a tool, an inanimate concept, etc.

Exactly, he’s after disaster capitalism.

Exactly right- but the GOP is happy to continue to associate socialism with the older meaning...and a large portion of the population will buy it.

Sadly yes.  For 50+ years socialism= communism and communism is bad.  The idea that you can remove the stigma of that word in a generation or less is unlikely.

I’m not going to give the ad the views, but I’m guessing democratic socialism is being intentionally misrepresented as communism. Therefore Republicans want our country to be the next Somalia- devoid of any consistent rule of law, lots of guns, etc.

The thing is- this guy may never learn his lesson. Sure, he might apologize for it and say it was wrong, but deep down, he still thinks he made the right call. So, let’s hope he suffers for another few years and we can check in on him again, and see how he feels.

He remembers the 2016 election because he replays the debates, his speeches, etc. even to this day.  I’m not kidding.

If Soros is funding all the things the conspiracy theorists say he’s funding, he wouldn’t be a billionaire anymore.

Yep.  If you gave them notice and a reasonable severance, I’d have a lot more trouble complaining about its demise.

It’s easy to make it free when you can just make shit up and have billionaire benefactors funding it.

poor= brown people

If you’re asking me to pick between Bezos and paying out staffers for a shuttered newspaper, I’m going with the staffers.

I’m no fan of Bezos and the pay disparity is complete garbage, but commuter newspapers have been on the ropes for quite some time. The Red-Eye in Chicago dropped from daily to weekly.  So, it was likely that the Post Express’s days were already numbered.

If they really are just an app that connects rider with drivers, then I’m sure they won’t mind drivers negotiating their own rates, not being kicked off the platform for refusing rides, etc. given that’s outside the “usual course of Uber’s business.”  Strange how they want to control the drivers, but then say that

Wow, I wasn’t even aware of that.  Yeah, he’s got the long game in mind.
