We shouldn’t underestimate the economic issues that drive white people to commit hate crimes. Slow down, I’m not talking about “economic anxiety” in a vacuum. I’m talking about economic anxiety + deep seated racism + a president and party that stokes their feelings of aggrievement.

My problem with a lot of Mexican lagers is they’re so damned unpredictable re: skunked.  It’s Russian roulette.

It’s pretty rare that you can’t find some insurance company to cover the cops. Those high premiums don’t hit the cops, they hit the people of the towns, cities, states, etc.

The problem is that Trump is essentially ignoring subpoenas, requests for documents, etc. So, one of the few ways to “force” him to give up those documents is an impeachment.

They were competitors, not in the sense that they were both liberal, but that they were competing to attract the disaffected residents of Germany.

By pushing all pensions and retirement accounts to 401ks, it essentially forces us to worship the stock market and love our abusers.

It’s complicated, but in short, the argument is Nazis were/are liberals. They believe that because the Nazis are viewed as bad and had the word socialist in their name.  That’s about as deep as they go, honestly.

Calling a white women Becky isn’t racist for the same reason that calling a white person a cracker isn’t racist. It’s the same reason that when a 5 year old hits you, you don’t punch them in the face and pretend that they were the same. There is a lack of power.

It’s been in the Top 100 names since the 1940s. It’s been the top 50 or so since the 1980s, especially for white people. So, it’s perfectly apt to use it. 

SCOTUS will be fine with Gerrymandering until it starts to benefit Dems if/when they take back states. Magically, suddenly, SCOTUS will “refine” their guidance to make it less partisan.
