You mean the quad? There’s a part a few blocks away (Bloomingdale) that has most definitely become a dog park, but I don’t see many dogs when I walk through the campus.

Not surprising as the number of frequent/power users of FB continues to skew older.

All part of the plan- you simply release tiny redacted bits of the report, giving slightly more information than last time when people complain, while maintaining the no collusion/no obstruction tautology. The public grows tired/bored of it and parrots the no collusion lines. As Democrats complain that they’re not

They were fascist light, but fascism is economically mixed at best. They were anti-union, etc.

They want the 50's.

I contributed to it. I thought we could engage in a rational discussion that assumes not all bigotry is the same. I was wrong.

I assumed you were an obtuse troll, but thought I’d would try.  I should not have tried.

I’d love for him to explain how it’s not racist.  I tend to enjoy the plausible deniability excuses they use.

I don’t believe black kids have the power to oppress or intimidate white society on a systematic scale, so apples and oranges.

Obviously, the actual punishment is garbage, but I’m trying to find a silver lining. It’s hard to tell from the article, were they convicted of a felony? If they’re over 18, that could follow them for a while and make their lives oh so slightly less convenient.

I’m in favor of keeping the filibuster, but actually force people to do it rather than merely threaten it (Cloture votes).

I always wonder if reinstating the draft in the US would prevent more wars IF they could remove most of the exceptions that got the likes of Trump out of service, since rich people’s sons and daughters would service. Or, would it have the opposite effect and make us into a Stratocracy (government by the military, just

Mr Washington seems to have forgotten about the Fair Sentencing Act of 2010 and the numerous criminal justice reforms that Obama did and attempted.  Guess which party opposed it?

MLK Jr. wanted guaranteed jobs, was against the vietnam war and militarization in general, was a democratic socialist (socialist lite), was against police brutality or police as a means to oppress (specifically mentioning black people), etc.

Agreed, but I think it will be the combination of suspicious interactions with the Russians (even if not provably beyond a reasonable doubt) + greater descriptions of obstruction will give us a more accurate picture of the President’s team doing shady stuff and trying to cover it up.

Poor analogy, but the best I have

The law is very clear that they have to hand them over.  I guess we’ll see if that “judicial activism” that the GOP seems to hate so much, will suddenly become OK when SCOTUS invents a new form of executive privilege or executive power.

Let’s do what was proposed by Democrats during the Ken Starr investigations- full report to congress and redacted version (removing national security and grand jury materials) for the public. I know the GOP doesn’t care about hypocrisy, but for some reason, Dems are held to a higher standard.

It seems like they’re trying to build out the subway system.  When I was there late last year, I noticed a few new stations being built.  So granted, it may take some time, but seems like they’re trying rather than just throwing up their hands.

Jayne Byrne. IMO- she was like the Jimmy Carter of mayors- well-meaning and underappreciated while in office.

Yeah, most local news affiliates are conservative given the supremacy of Sinclair, News-Press and Gazette, and Tribune.
