It relies on the assumption that the docs were collected by USB and Romania didn’t have 180mps (about 22 mbs) internet at the time, even for enterprises.  Of course, that’s idiotic.

I think he views it as a win-win. He can continue to impugn the judge and the case. If he’s not sent to jail, he can continue his disinformation campaign. If he’s sent to jail, he can play the victim about it’s a witch hunt, deep state, etc.

Yeah, Roberts approach to the question was...interesting. Rather than look at the intent of the ban, he pretended that the ban was for legitimate reasons and asked if it was constitutionally allowed. Meaning, we must always assume either good or no intentions and simply ask whether it’s allowed by the Constitution.

Absolutely- so, we need to follow those threads, but the granting of the clearance, is stupid and suspicious, but not unlawful.   The silver lining is that Trump is identifying all these informal rules that should become formal rules.

“Fuming” is a bit strong. They expressed “concern” or “skepticism,” the same thing they do when he does all this other awful stuff because they don’t actually want to challenge him.

Legal/Policy question- can’t POTUS as the Commander in Chief, authorize the use/disclosure of any classified materials (even Top Secret).

She’s towards the end of her career. I really wish just a handful of these senior officials would bite the hand that feeds them, pass a massive reform (e.g. medicare for all, single payer, etc. ) recognizing they’ll probably get voted out by a massive lobbying and spending campaign. So, the challenge is that they only

Disagree on the Mob Accountant moniker. He is a mob accountant.  Despite all the shady shit Trump has pulled, he’s still there.  He’d rather serve time for lying to congress, obstruction, witness tampering, etc. than the time he’d face for tax evasion, tax fraud, insurance fraud, etc.

The state (or group of states) should fine and prosecute them into the ground and, do an asset purchase and run it themselves.

Yes, this is moving/keeping the Overton window to the right but allow them plausible deniability to Trump’s brand of conservatism

Here’s the thing- you don’t have to take him at his word. But when he presents a check, there’s a recording of a phone call, emails, etc. that all back up his story, then you should start to believe it.

I don’t think it’s so clean cut. I think Trippier is trying to indicate that Lloris should come out and clear it. Lloris starts to come out, but with Willian starting to bear down, he decides to try to pass it back and puts too heavy of a touch on it.

In that case, the claimed value of the properties on Trump’s taxes will perfectly match, the claimed value for insurance purposes, right?

They’d also revise history- the wall needed to be built, record crime, massing amounts of drugs, 20k caravans, etc. and about 40% of the people would go with it.

No, not at all. You seriously underestimate the GOP’s desire to be consistent or not-hypocrites. If a president Sanders declared Climate Change a national emergency, they would act shocked and appalled and pretend that they would NEVER do something like that, they’re revise history and talk about how dangerous it was

Correct, MOU’s can vary. But in trade talks, union agreements, etc. they are considered binding. But even if your background says they’re not, once your own negotiator says it’s binding, then you adjust and keep going. If you’re unsure, you don’t publicly question your trade rep like that on TV, in front of the other

Letter of Intent- Expressing the desire to work together. The substance isn’t binding (the business transaction), but the ancillary stuff is binding(e.g. confidentiality, maybe a period of exclusive talks, etc.)

I would agree, but accepting stolen documents probably isn’t enough. There needs to be a smoking gun where Trump (not Stone, Manafort, etc.) said, “Please steal the DNC documents, and in return I will do [X] for you Russia.” There’s probably a lot of innuendo and some of his inner circle might have been that blatant,

People need to be prepared to be let down.
