I’m with you. Aside from Metroid of course, I think most Metroidvanias don’t scratch that Metroid itch. Even the best ones just don’t feel right. Hollow Knight does. It is a perfect game and filled that Metroid void for me.

I use my original SNES controllers with a USB adapter on my RetroPie and love it. They work perfectly and are still the best.

I think you can be ok with a game being delayed, but still be disappointed that it got delayed.

It’s funny I see people complaining about the systems that were removed but it honestly makes the game way more appealing to me.
