I have a WiiU and a 3DS. Largely in the hopes of a Metroid coming out on either of them.

Yeah, people always say if you want a new Metroid just play Guacamelee or something (which I know isn't what you're saying) but I don't love Metroid for just its gameplay, but for its atmosphere, music, and full on exploration.

With Nintendo announcing Metroid Fusion as one of the first GBA games on Wii U and Reggie wearing the 2D Metroid Pin at VGX I can only assume it means they are dropping hints. But at the same time it likely means nothing.

I had a dream last night that a new Metroid game was announced. Needless to say, I was a little sad when I woke up.

I don't think it's remotely fun to play. The fun is hearing about it. Watching it is infuriating. But it's not fun hearing about its progress when democracy mode is essentially a normal game at one tenth speed. If anyone expected this game to be beaten fast they'd be sorely mistaken.

Its no expirement when the variables inexplicably change mid game. It would succeed on its own once it took a while because people would drop off low enough to complete the particularly hard tasks. As It is Democracy slows the game down to a normal playthru a tenth of normal speed. Even if not for start spammers…

Ruins all the fun though. This was never meant to be fast, and people would eventually succeed on anarchy. With the tug of war thing going on its severely unfun to watch or even read about because half the time people are just voting and not playing.

Unfortunately neither Target near me has any. I'm under the impression that Sony is keeping the supply in the states very constrained so they can have enough for Japan's launch in a few days.

Yup. This Vita is ok for people who are just getting one. But a casual check will get you a pretty good condition used one for much cheaper, and a new 1000 for a little cheaper. The slim isn't really a good deal.

By scrapping it they've managed to add an hour of battery life without actually making the battery any better. That, combined with cheaper to produce screen means they get more profit on each Vita sold.
