Except for the investigating thoroughly part?

Do you mean accused rapist? Kinda not the same thing

You need to stop.

An accused rapist is not the same thing as a rapist.

No this is about a DNC chairperson who was unscrupulous and biased in favour of one candidate while supposedly neutral.

They have to put a positive spin on it.

You mean in Thor?

And you result to insults over the internet when you don’t have an argument while I argue my points respectfully. I was never talking about just Kevin. Every man in the movie is portrayed negatively while the original had examples of both men and women portrayed positively. Portraying either gender exclusively

Nice argument after being proven wrong about the women in the first movie.

I guess you haven’t seen the original. The women in that movie were intelligent and competent. Janine could hold her own in scenes with the ghostbusters and was an awesome likable character. Nobody in the movie was objectifying her or pitying her for being stupid and she wasn’t getting humiliated or being the butt of

I think it’s wrong to portray one gender exclusively negatively in a “progressive” and “feminist” movie. Women still playing love interest characters sometimes in other movies is not a good justification for why that’s ever a good or positive thing to do.

There is nothing wrong with that. the problem is when all the side characters of a gender are

Swift was lying and slandering her husband publicly. Defending his name with evidence was not petty.

Fieg said they need to make $500 million for it to be considered a success. Since the movie is not playing in China, that seems unlikely.

Playing a love interest is a better role than playing a stupid jerk that the audience is supposed to hate

Being the love interest is a necessary role in many stories and the character can easily be portrayed positively and stand beside the lead as someone of equal intelligence and integrity. Dana didn’t have too much to do but she was respectable and could hold her own in scenes with the ghostbusters. Being a respected

a remake ‘with a twist’ is still a remake

being a love interest isn’t a negative thing. i don’t know if i’ve ever seen a movie in which every female character was actually written to be stupid, incompetent or a jerk
