Are you in North America? Did you look at the Audi A4 Allroad, BMW 3 series wagon and Mercedes-Benz C & E Class wagons? I recently traded my Golf wagon for the BMW wagon and my driving experience has positively increased.

I had a TDI on order and was not allowed to have it and ended up getting a petrol version of teh same car. I would happily buy a diesel again if they can adhere to the EPA regulations and what ever Canada decides to do
