I made my wife pause so I could explain how the Niednagel was just an Easter egg for podcast listeners. So excited for Tuesday’s commute so I can hear all about it.

I loved the “Niednagel” Easter egg that felt like it was especially for Good Place Podcast listeners.
Also, Chidi screaming, “As I was saying before I saw the TIME KNIFE!” is great. WJH’s timing, inflection and surprisingly jacked body are secret MVP’s on a show full of MVP’s.
I think the Custodians of the Chronology opening was less of a riff on Guardians of the Galaxy and more on 80s action shows like The A-Team. I love fake credit sequences though, so this episode ruled.
Because every time he’s a whiny man-baby you remember “I go to the zoooooooo . . . “??
But the whole point of him being bisexual is that he could end up with a man or woman. The show wasn’t portraying him as realizing he was gay, but that he’d be equally happy with a man or woman.
That is one of those tired tropes that this show was written to upend. That kind of relationship is never realistically healthy.
I cannot believe pretzel Simon & Garfunkel didn’t even rate a mention in the review. They were everything!
Wait, people honestly thought someone from the main cast would die? What developments from the previous nine bland seasons would indicate that the show would attempt anything even remotely daring? It took them an entire season to get around to showing the two committed gay characters kissing. Chastely. In the…
Yes, I’m the illiterate one, not the people who equate approximating a darker skin tone with smearing greasepaint all over your face, painting on big white lips, and doing a grotesque racial caricature.
You know what I find offensive? Insistently referring to every instance of using makeup to approximate a darker skin tone as ‘blackface.’
You live at the bottom of a well? What’s that like?
He did not get fired; he got put on sabbatical. (Verbally assaulting? Please; he spoke loudly to him.) Preyed on a student... that’s a whole other can of worms I don’t have any interest in opening right now.
I know that nobody is really Team Ross, but if you propose Taking A Break, you’d better be prepared for your on-hold partner to take that seriously.
Yes, the monster that is Ross. Ross, whose first marriage ended when his wife discovered she was a lesbian and cheated on him, right when his child was being born. Ross, who didn’t even get to indulge in the fantasy of a stable family existence before it was ripped away, totally blindsided. Ross, who in the next…
Ross, being a dick, immediately slept with another woman
There’s a brief scroll down at the end of the shot that also reveals Tom Cruise.
Yes, I found Jason’s year the most humorous. Now that they’re out of the group, we can rob their houses legally.
And the people of Gondor thank you for your service.
Lindelof himself called it a sexual assault in a recent interview so the show is definitely aware it was rape.
Not having read the comments, prolly been covered already, I am deeply disappointed that Tommy asked Meg why did she "fuck" him instead of why did she "rape" him. In the last few TV seasons there have been an uncommonly large number of male rape victims and there has been virtually no conversation about it.
