Is there a chance the track could bend?

I was hoping for at least one Herbie inspired car. I was not disappointed.

It's called "YouTube."

Man, that would've been a cool photo.

Between the original show, the made for TV movies, the 2005 movie, the direct to DVD movie, and all the Dukes Fests together, less than 400 68, 69, and 70 Chargers were used and/or destroyed.

The Brocknoviach!

I recall a family comedy where the jerk guy that the mom had decided to start dating drove a Miata. The running gag was that he was super tall and couldn't get out of the car without looking like a moron. For the life of me I can't remember the film though, and it's not in IMCDb.org.

Thank you, Jason. As a lifelong Herbie fan, this brought up a lot of great memories and perfectly captured what made the original movie so great. This movie, "Dad, Can I Borrow the Car?" and "Freewayphobia" indoctrinated me early to being a lifelong gearhead and reluctant Disneyphile. Yeah, most of their stuff is

I'm glad I'm not the only one that loved Herbie Goes Bananas, even though I couldn't watch when they threw Herbie overboard the first few times. Nobody really gets how sad that is.

The missus and I are restoring the '64 Valiant I've had since I was 15. We grew up together, so the car is a part of her story just like it is a part of mine. She's been nothing but supportive about the restoration and can sling filler over my welds like a pro. Sadly, we didn't do an epic stop motion when we started.

Ha! I did used to have my wallet on a chain. The chain is gone, the Valiant remains.

The 1883 footage was cut short.
