I'm glad I'm not the only one that loved Herbie Goes Bananas, even though I couldn't watch when they threw Herbie overboard the first few times. Nobody really gets how sad that is.

The missus and I are restoring the '64 Valiant I've had since I was 15. We grew up together, so the car is a part of her story just like it is a part of mine. She's been nothing but supportive about the restoration and can sling filler over my welds like a pro. Sadly, we didn't do an epic stop motion when we started.

Ha! I did used to have my wallet on a chain. The chain is gone, the Valiant remains.
