@GasGuzzler: i would heart click you again if I could.

Why was there no Fine Young Cannibals warning on this video? Think of the children!

I still find it impossible to believe that anyone bought a Grand Am out of choice. It somehow out beiges Toyota for me.

Not a great price, but for the effort that's gone into it, I'd say it's pretty close to fair. Those upgrades aren't easy fixes, and if it means the car handles and drives like its looks, I'd find that a good enough purchase price for a sporty convertible. I'd definitely change the wheels, though.

@Maymar: Heart click for droppin' truth bombs.

@Maymar: Of all...time!

I saw one of these at a car show for $3,600. It wasn't in bad shape, either. No rust through. Clearly it had not been dropped in the ocean.

@alexander_the_car_salamander: Thanks! And yes, it is. It's a 14 year long project that hopefully will be finished before its 20th anniversary. :)

Tough, reliable, easy on gas and (eventually) all weather capable. She's my first car and hopefully my last.

@Fast_Nel: Thank you so much. Pictures saved and user heart-clicked.

@Fast_Nel: Great pictures! I put them in my rotating wallpaper folder. Thanks for sharing.

If anything, when I saw the movie "Cars" I truly hoped it would renew people's desire to get off the interstate system and cruise some of the back roads again. I hope to do Route 66 in my 64 Valiant someday.

Didn't they just wreck one of these on The Good Guys?

@dbw780: I'm glad I'm not the only one that remembered our pal Denver.

Faded metallic blue...but I'm biased.

Needs more Roadrunner pics.
