If anything, when I saw the movie "Cars" I truly hoped it would renew people's desire to get off the interstate system and cruise some of the back roads again. I hope to do Route 66 in my 64 Valiant someday.

1964 Valiant V100 by Plymouth. Slant Six power that can survive just about anything you can throw at it, and so few components there's hardly anything to break. Truck style torsion bar suspension up front, bulletproof 904 with the pushbutton auto option, and electrics a six year old could figure out. Cheap enough for

The 2nd generation Barracuda has certainly come to live in the shadow of its E-Body offspring. Do a quick price comparison on eBay and be amazed and dismayed at how the humble A-Body holds up. Frankly I'd rather have a 67-69 Barracuda any day of the week over the 'Cuda that followed.
