@Corz: Touche, sir. I sit corrected.

Ah...the 1981 Corvette. So bad. So very, very bad.

@dead_elvis: Yeah, I distinctly remember having "flesh" toned Crayolas in the 80s. Revisionist history!

My mom had an MGB, an MGB GT and an MG Midget, but she always wanted that elusive MGA. I would get that for her. My mom used to be so cool.

@BradMW: Especially when it's slanted.

It's all about the 1-5-3-6-2-4, baby.

You can drive a reasonable facsimile in Driv3r for the PSDos. It's hidden in the Turkey level.

Well played, as is often the case.

Oh, Jaguar. Only you would require the owner to actually have a coin available to operate the emergency parking brake lever.

@tankman: Thank you very much!

@Piloter: Eloquently put and very much my thoughts on the matter of junkyards. Most of the local ones don't depress me because they don't usually have anything more than 10 years old in them, but some of the ones I would visit in more rural areas would be so depressing. @Møbius: Yes, but you can donate it for a tax write-off...if anyone will take it.

Indeed, you only live once, so why rent when you can buy a Cadillac, complete your trip and sell it later? How hard could it be?

@Psiu! Puxa!: You're right, Mopar or no car!: The 904 wasn't a bad little slushbox either. I've got a cable shift model linked to pushbuttons in my Valiant and it's done amazingly well for being resurrected from sitting for half a decade. And then to be placed in the hands of an eager teenager willing to stupidly

@porsche9146: I do feel special. Thanks! Great way to start my Saturday.

@Matt Hardigree: *kneels* Thank you, Emperor Hardigree. I shall serve the realm of Jalopnik well.

@allinthefamily: Like Al Gore, I enjoy humor that can be recycled. Thanks!
