Image fail. See below. Not quite a sleeper because of the scoop/wheels, but the ugly/fast/Valiant ratio is huge.

Sleeper, pure and simple. No frills, understated to the point of mockery...until you hit the loud pedal.

Needs a square on the back for me, but it's a nice car.

@Roberto G.: If you follow the links there's a Nisssan and Toyota commercial that follows this theme.

It looks like a PT Cruiser on the inside! Run away!

@Cheeseslap: That's something I could get behind. Heart-click for excellent taste in Jesus-Wheels.

@twinturbo2: I do believe the Hornet is my favorite "Car That Never Was." Although the Driver series had some great ones too.

@tankman: Valiant Duster 340 forever.

Second Friend of Brasky: Hey, do you fellas know a.. a guy by the name Uwe Gemballa?!!

Ugh. What? What is that? Ugh. Ew. No.

My dad threw me behind the wheel of his rusty '65 Beetle and told me to go for it. He did at least show me how to pop it in reverse.

The 79 Dodge Magnum

@mariospants: Because of the second of those three things.

With this car, you would not be a self indulgent wiener, sir...You'd be a connoisseur.

I've seen Christopher Titus mentioned a few times here and I agree 100%. He's extremely funny and sarcastic, he would play well with Carolla, and he genuinely loves cars. The only problem is that he's probably too much like Carolla as far as wit and sarcasm are concerned.

@JackMBUR: I laughed a lot more than I should have at that picture.
