@Sam: This looks staged. Too many camera angles. Probably part of either a viral campaign or a TV commercial.

I really want to say my Slant 6 Valiant, but that would be a lie. It's my wife's 1997 Camry. *sigh*

@55Hardtop: I just tasted bile in my mouth.

@golferal - Paradiddles galore!: Yeah, I have a few spare rings just in case. Now there's an Australian company that makes fiberglass rings! The internet is wonderful.

The Electrical Storm!

@tankman: I think it's the part where it underwhelms compared to the other retro-ponies in virtually everything except being extremely heavy. It may very well be a fine car, but it could, and should, have been much better.

@golferal - Now with lots o' drums!: You get a heart-click for owning one of the best cars ever. I still have mine. They're going to have to pry it from my cold, dead hand.

@KamikazeChikn: "The SPEEDSHIFT seven-speed transmission is automatic, but that's just because you can't shift as fast as it can, and AMG doesn't want its performance numbers to be dulled by the incapable meat-bag behind the wheel."

It's not fair putting that Top Gear video there. Impossible to not vote Nice Price after seeing Clarkson wax philosophical about this amazing car.

I'd hit it. That's a heckuvatruck if the condition truly matches the price tag.

The Mercury We're-still-here?

I miss the "You deserve it!" commercials of the Me-Decade.

There's one just like this clattering around Gainesville, Florida. I marvel that it still runs every time I see it.

@tankman: My biggest fear is that they will do this, and it will taint my view of Mopar's finest platform like the Nü Challenger did for the E-body.

I love the '69 Valiant. If I ever get a friend for my '64, it's gonna be a '69 sedan. It's like having a boxy Duster with a better grill.

With all due respect, I really doubt Plymouth would've made it as long as it did without the Neon. If I recall correctly, the commercial everyone was talking about after the Superbowl was the Neon unveil. This is what is called effective marketing and it showed in the auto sales. It was a breath of fresh air for

GLHS FTW!

Now playing

Possibly by using some kind of Truck/Condorcar combo as seen in the classic Disney film "Condorman."

@facelvega: That doesn't mean he founded the first luxury brands. It means he founded the two surviving ones.

@monsterajr: And the VW bus is based on an old Monogram kit I made when I was a kid. I wish I still had it.
